Blondey McCoy, a young 19-year-old London designer and skateboarder, creates a graphic clothing capsule under his eponymous label. Popular on the streetwear scene with his Thames brand, he collaborates with iconic houses such as Fred Perry and Palace. The craziest thing about all this is that the British genius almost fell into haute couture by chance. During a dinner he met the photographer David Bailey, who threw him into a campaign for Valentino 2 days later. Little by little Blondey made a place for himself in fashion and even became the face of a campaign for Burberry. This self-taught woman offers us a very British vision of fashion and does not hesitate to offer us technical pieces, coloured with a strong implicit message. He quickly became an idol: he is considered an essential part of the London creative scene.
For this season FW18, the graphic capsule of the young London designer offers a universe that mixes fashion and art. In this new collection we find t-shirts or sweatshirts dominated by contemporary influences and British culture.
