EDWIN presents us Slim tapered kaihara stretch Blue rinsed.
Founded by Mr. Tsunemi in the post-war period, the Japanese firm quickly distinguished itself by the quality of their expertise in denim. From the design of their own looms to the invention of new production techniques, Edwin quickly became a worldwide reference. In addition to denim, their collections have also diversified through streetwear and workwear ranges with graphic universes often inspired by Japanese calligraphy and prints.
Made from 12.5oz denim, this Kaihara features a modern slim fit with a slightly tapered leg and a low rise, designed to be worn on the hip. Its all-Japanese production uses premium fabric from iconic mills, honoring Edwin's origins and refined craftsmanship. One of the main reasons for switching to Japanese production is of course sustainability, but also to offset the label's carbon emissions. The jeans feature lightweight, recycled buttons and rivets, as well as new cellulose pulp labeling, replacing the old leather branding.
To complete the look, he also wears an Edwin t-shirt and Vans shoes.
