Initially a manufacturer of rubber boots in Boston, it was in 1919 that Converse marketed the iconic All-Star. Present at the Olympic Games and a favorite of NBA players, it is the reference for basketball players. Little by little, Converse ceased to be a sports shoe and became representative of a certain lifestyle to be today the prosperous brand that we all know.
In 1974, Converse released a low-profile version of the suede Chuck Taylor All Star with a simple yet striking change: the outer surface of the sneaker bore a star and nothing else. Then in the early 90s, the re-released One Star was an immediate success in the skateboarding world. Today's One Star Pro features improved cushioning for better impact protection, with nubuck leather for maximum durability and exceptional style.
