Founded in 2011 in Malmö, Sweden, Polar Skate Co. highlights a notable evolution in skate culture in that it represents an independent entity that speaks directly to its community. Pontus Alv, who initiated the project and later developed his own skate shoe brand Last Resort, was quick to emphasize the artistic dimension of his practice, going beyond the mere mercantile value.
The Patrik Jacket from Polar Skate Co. revisits the classic denim jacket with a contemporary twist and a confident oversized cut. Made from heavyweight cotton denim (435 g/m²), stonewashed for an authentic worn effect and unique texture. Dropped shoulders and a wide silhouette offer optimum comfort and freedom of movement, ideal for skateboarding or everyday wear.
Utility details include two patch chest pockets, a front split kangaroo pocket and YKK signature silver metal snaps. The pointed collar and buttoned cuffs reinforce the piece's workwear aesthetic, while the woven label with “Surf” logo adds a discreet signature.
