Carhartt WIP, for Work in Progress, is the casual sub-label of the American workwear brand Carhartt. This European branch was born in 1989, 100 years after the creation of the parent company in Detroit and willingly inspired by its elders, injecting, in addition to workwear, a dose of streetwear and skatewear to its collections.

To mark its 50th anniversary, Carhartt WIP presents a collector's edition of its iconic OG Active Jacket, reimagined in heavyweight Maitland denim for a raw yet timeless look. Made from 100% cotton, with a substantial weight of 13.5 oz, this piece celebrates heritage with a modern, technical twist.

Staying true to the original silhouette, the jacket features the original loose fit, paired with an insulating striped blanket lining in the body and nylon-lined sleeves for added comfort. The front kangaroo pocket, adjustable hood, and triple-stitched seams highlight its utility-focused construction, while the signature Square Label completes the denim side of the design.

What sets this anniversary edition apart is its reversible construction: the inner side transforms into a quilted puffer-style jacket in bold USA red, complete with a back embroidery reading “Carhartt WIP, Active Jacket Anniversary Edition”. The washed denim finish gives the outer shell a lightly worn-in look, adding character without compromising durability.
