Very influential in Japan, especially in the streetwear sphere, the Japanese label is bubbling with inspirations from very different horizons that come to life in the sandstone from the collections. Hip hop, motorcycle, workwear, bandana, army wardrobe are among other themes that the designer enjoys enhancing with the Japanese touch of which he and his entourage of designers have the secret.
Crafted as part of the collaboration between Neighborhood and One of These Days, headed by Los Angeles artist Matt McCormick, the Zip Work Jacket offers a modern take on vintage-inspired workwear infused with Western storytelling.
Made from an army cotton-wool blend with a dry hand feel and aged texture, this souvenir jacket features flap pockets on both chests, and is adorned with embroidered cowboy motifs and branding.
The jacket incorporates original snap buttons, while collaborative tags at the left hem and side seam underline its status as a unique joint project blending art, identity, and craftsmanship.
