Vans is a Californian brand around the skateboard universe, created in 1966 by Paul Doren, James Van Doren as well as three other partners. They knew how to create a universe of their own and make this brand mythical. Vans shoes have the particularity to be both simple and distinguished in an infinite way. Vulcanized rubber sole, prized by skateboarders for its grip properties and stability on skateboards, uppers are usually made of canvas or suede for a better fit.
Paying homage to Vans' first factory based in Anaheim, California, the Anaheim Factory Half Cab 33 DX borrows details from the original Half Cab model while offering modernized comfort, thanks to an improved version of the Ortholite® insole. With retro details like the original model number, a brighter reinforcement strip, lightweight drill lining and cotton laces, this iconic mid-top features a vintage-inspired suede upper with an embossed crocodile pattern.
