Very influential in Japan, especially in the streetwear sphere, the Japanese label is bubbling with inspirations from very different horizons that come to life in the sandstone from the collections. Hip hop, motorcycle, workwear, bandana, army wardrobe are among other themes that the designer enjoys enhancing with the Japanese touch of which he and his entourage of designers have the secret.
A result of the collaboration between Neighborhood and One of These Days, led by Los Angeles-based artist Matt McCormick, the Crewneck SS Black is a short-sleeve T-shirt that blends artistic vision with vintage-inspired aesthetics.
Made from cotton jersey with a savage finish, the tee features a carefully crafted aging effect—including fading, distressing, and staining—that gives it a worn, lived-in look. A horse motif graphic print appears on the left chest patch pocket and across the back, evoking themes central to McCormick’s work.
Finished with collaboration tags at the left hem and side seam, this piece stands as a true hybrid of art and streetwear culture.
