David Keyte’s label returns to Graduate for the Fall Winter 2021 collection. After a spring-summer season inspired by the Universal Works designer’s recent travels in India, we’re back to the brand’s fundamentals at the end of the year.
What are they, you ask? (yes, I can hear you, I’m right there behind the window. Hello.)
Well, the workwear obvioulsy ! This primary inspiration is even reflected in the brand name: Universal Works. So, see?
But workwear, for our British friends, is in their DNA. It is a canvas, a blank canvas on which themes are grafted. Some original, like those of the summer that is ending before our teary eyes, and some timeless, obvious, exciting, and synonymous with great looks!
So make way for the americana as we love it! To the Ivy League sprinkled with outerwear! To the preppy mixed with a hint of military inspiration!
Make way for cotton twill, corduroy, moleskin, wool!
Make way for quality, the play of fabrics, textures, fits!
Make way for flamboyant simplicity, the modesty that is so complex to achieve!
Make way for the Universal Works brand that continues to excite us season after season, and make way for our looks!
