Stepney Workers Club is a London-based footwear brand that was founded in 2018 by Simon See and Roger Pereira. The idea behind the brand was to create inclusive and accessible sneakers inspired by the heritage of the London labor movement.

The founders of Stepney Workers Club ( known as SWC) explained that they chose the brand's name in reference to the history of London's East End, which has long been a gathering place for workers and union activists. They also explained that they were inspired by the workers' club culture, where people gathered to socialize and have fun. In this way, the brand developed a real political message. To stay in this resolutely socialist message, the brand strives to offer sneakers at a contained price not exceeding 100 euros. A fair price, for an excellent value for money.

Stepney Workers Club sneakers are designed to be unisex, comfortable and durable, with styles ranging from low-top sneakers to high-top shoes. The Dellow Strike and Pearl Strike are already top models. Included in SWC's offering are suede sneakers. Since their launch in 2018, Stepney Workers Club sneakers have been popular with many consumers, especially in fashion, music and skateboarding circles. Stepney leaders said they hope to continue to grow the brand while staying true to their vision of an inclusive and sustainable company.

Stepney Workers Club uses vulcanized soles to make their Dellow Strike and Pearl Strike shoes. This technique involves heating raw rubber with chemicals to make it more durable and resistant. As it cools, the sole becomes firmer and offers a better grip. Vulcanized soles are known for their durability, wear resistance and ability to resist tearing. These properties make vulcanized soles a popular choice for athletic and skateboarding shoes, as they extend the life of the shoe and offer increased comfort (and better control of the skateboard). Vulcanized soles are also considered more environmentally friendly than glued soles, as they require less adhesive, which can be toxic to the environment. By choosing to use vulcanized soles for their sneakers, Stepney Workers Club shows their commitment to sustainability and quality of their products.
