Stüssy was born by chance, when Shawn Stussy was trying to compete with rival stands at a surf convention.
He decided to put his signature on a white tee shirt, and very quickly it became a fashion phenomenon and the logo of the brand. In 1979, he developed a complete line of clothing (sweatshirt, sweater, hoodie, tee shirt, jeans...) which was an almost immediate success. Shortly after, he met Jeff Jebbia (creator of Supreme) who helped him to accelerate the growth of the Stussy firm with the opening of stores in New York, Los Angeles and Soho. Many fashion brands now want to collaborate with Stussy. Among the iconic collaborations are Nike, with whom partnerships are multiplying, Bape, Union LA, Braindead ...
Sweat Stussy
Stussy's clothing collections for men and women often have a vintage inspiration, with a lot of information in the prints and colors. The size is usually loose, whether it is jeans, tee shirt, hoodie, sweater, jacket ... Basically made for men, the brand presents more and more its clothes for women.
