Our Opinion on Hoka
Before sharing with you our opinion on the brand Hoka One One, it is important to make a small point on its origins. Founded in 2009 by two former Salomon employees, Hoka One One is a running shoe brand with a specific ambition, to revolutionize the running shoe to adapt it to all movements. This is also reflected in the term "hoka" meaning "fly on earth" in Maori and their slogan Time To Fly. The result? A brand that does not lack audacity in its designs since the uppers of their pairs are mounted on bodybuilt soles with a cushioning at any proof. 
In order to bring you a constructive opinion, we will take the case of some models of Hoka One One.
The Project Clifton, urban and disruptive
This new model reworks the classic Hoka One One shoe, the Clifton. Improved and energized, the Project Clifton takes the cushioning already present on the Clifton 8. The cushioning combines neutral stability with great comfort. The upper features quick lacing and an Aquaguard® zipper to keep your feet dry. SpeedGoat 5, the ultimate trail shoe
Within the Hoka One One footwear range, the speedgoat reigns supreme in the trail environment. The speedgoat incorporates a benchmark technology in the trail sphere, the Vibram® Mega-Grip lugged outsole, perfectly designed for soft ground. Constantly in search of performance, this new speedgoat is no less than 15 g lighter. Hoka One One being a brand that places nature at the heart of its convictions, the speedgoat presents a more eco-responsible design with a reduction of the layers of coating. As for the upper, it is made of a dynamic textile that provides flexibility and excellent comfort when the foot is pushed. Finally, the speedgoat also incorporates a reworked tongue and a better lining at the ankle to avoid any problems related to friction and chafing. The Mafate Speed 2, adaptive and versatile
Designed to provide support and cushioning on the most technical trails, the mafate speed 2 is a technology bomb. Trail running means steep trails and steep trails mean a more difficult stride, but with the mafate speed 2, Hoka One One offers a curved sole under the metas that facilitates a smoother transition for the stride. In addition, the outsole features a Vibram® Mega-Grip tread pattern as well as deeper grooves to better grip the type of surface it crosses. As for the upper part of the shoe, the mafate speed 2 is made of a seamless speedframe fabric. In short, the mafate speed 2 is an ideal trail shoe with excellent adaptive properties.
The Sky Hopara, a mountain sandal like no other
A true summer pair, the Sky Hopara is a sandal with amazing properties. Designed with all the know-how of Hoka One One, this pair aims to revolutionize the best of mountain sandals. The Sky hopara features a synthetic upper that is open in strategic places to provide the best combination of water drainage and stability. There is also a Neoprene strap at the ankle to provide flexibility and comfort. As for the midsole, it is made of EVA foam to provide responsiveness to the stride. The midsole is coupled with 4mm multidirectional lugs to improve grip. Last but not least, the hopara has a rubber toe cap to protect your toes. This mountain sandal is a real must-have for all lovers of the genre.
The Bondi 8, made for running
Among the many pairs of shoes in the Hoka One One range, the Bondi is surely one of the most robust. Designed for running, this season the Bondi takes a step forward with a brand new heel geometry and improved foam in the sole. With the new geometry, the heel allows the stride to be much smoother in its transition from the ground to the foot. Built for running, the bondi is a pair that combines cushioning and elasticity to give runners a great performance.
