A.P.C. X JW ANDERSON presents us Afternoon Bleu/blanc.

The series of joint creations by JW Anderson and A.P.C. draws its essence from Joseph Beuys' performance piece titled "I Love America and America Loves Me." In 1974, this German artist undertook a very particular journey from Düsseldorf to New York, isolating himself in an ambulance and wrapping himself in a felt blanket to stay disconnected from the outside world. He then spent three days in the René Block Gallery, sharing the space with a coyote. The performance aimed to reconcile Western man, particularly the American, with a lost spirituality, notably Native American.

In this collection, Beuys' art is reinterpreted rather than copied literally. For example, the slightly rough texture of the duffle coat's wool subtly alludes to the felt used by Beuys. Other elements, such as the ambulance and the gallery's address (409 West Broadway), appear as graphic motifs on various items in the collection. The collection also serves as a reflection of Jonathan Anderson's personal tastes, offering what he would consider an ideal wardrobe. Overall, the collaboration innovatively revisits traditional elements of major clothing typologies.

The teapot Afternoon from the APC x JW Anderson collaboration is a marvel of classic elegance and modernity. Specifically designed by the English factory Cornishware, a pioneer in the field of porcelain since 1864, this teapot reflects JW Anderson's attachment to his British roots.

Each piece features distinctive blue and white stripes, adding a touch of timeless elegance. The meticulous attention to detail is evident in the addition of the JW and APC logos, written in black, which elevate the mug's design to another level. Made of 100% Gres, the teapot combines robustness and finesse.

In summary, the afternoon teapot is not just a simple kitchen utensil: it is an expression of refined taste and excellence in design and quality, values dear to both brands.
