SATTA
Satta, a small label from Brixton presents us their new SS22 collection. As usual, we find a sober color palette accompanied by minimalist designs. Among the strong pieces of the season, the ripstop cargo jacket makes perfect sense for its utilitarian aspect and its lightness. The no-frills Kai pants with their regular fit also make a strong impression. In short, this collection exudes tranquility, a return to simpler things.
Joe Lauder, skateboarding enthusiast and fervent defender of nature, wondered about the profusion of poor quality products on the market. As a result, he started to design and create boards with all his know-how. Little by little, his customers encouraged Joe to diversify his offer. In parallel to the boards, he started to create furniture and that's how in November 2012, he decided to create Satta Skates.
In Sanskrit Satta, means existence, being and these meanings perfectly sum up the mantra of the label: "Deep Roots Stand Firm". Satta Clothing, is therefore a thoughtful brand that advocates slowing down production through philosophy and holistic design. Satta was born out of the tension between the city and the desire to return to nature.
