Vans is a Californian brand around the skateboard universe, created in 1966 by Paul Doren, James Van Doren as well as three other partners. They knew how to create a universe of their own and make this brand mythical. Vans shoes have the particularity to be both simple and distinguished in an infinite way. Vulcanized rubber sole, prized by skateboarders for its grip properties and stability on skateboards, uppers are usually made of canvas or suede for a better fit.
The Sk8-Hi 38 DX Anaheim Factory shoes pay homage to their original Vans factory, based in Anaheim, California, by borrowing details from the original Sk8-Hi model and offering modernized comfort, thanks to an improved version of the OrthoLite insole. These legendary high-tops also feature retro details like the original model number, a brighter reinforcement strip and cotton laces. The durable suede and classic plaid upper completes this iconic design.
