Junya Watanabe Man is a Japanese brand founded in 1992. Under the aegis of Rei Kawakubo's Comme des Garçons label, designer Junya Watanabe displays a mastery of style like no other. Sometimes referred to as "techno-couture", his creations combine avant-gardism, originality, practicality and know-how. Made in Japan, with precious sourcing, the label's pieces are resolutely high-end.
The mythical vintage store of Harajuku BerBerJin exhumes from its archives the WK-P902 jeans of Levi's and lets Junya Watanabe play with them. Iconic piece of the first half of the twentieth century, the jeans were entirely digitized in the state and printed on cotton. Original process, like the works of the Japanese designer, the result is surprising. We find traces of wear, indigo shades due to fading, the passage of time. A remarkable work made in Japan.
